Most of the Loganwing armies you see are mostly or pure Wolf guard Terminators. What is the viability of a Loganwing army that uses power armoured Wolf-guard with lots of combi-weapons and a DROP POD delivery system to get them into position? How well would it fare against the top tier armies? Is it viable, say at 2000 points? I want to steer away from the razorspam/twc builds and make a unique Loganwing army but still be strong enough to hold its own in a VERY competitive scene....

From what I understand the term Loganwing came because it used only terminators. Deathwing was the first and original all-terminator army, and the suffix "wing" has now been applied to Logan's version of that army. Dunno if it would still be called Logan Wing if no terminators are involved.

On the other hand, I think a squad of Grey Hunters mounted in a drop pod with two special weapons can accomplish the same task for cheaper.
