hello all. i was wondering, is there any way that escaped me to paint an obscene portion of models in my collection that isnt painted in a quick way? out of 2250 points worth of orks, ten models are painted, and another ten with the incorrect paint scheme. as to my 1500 points worth of beastmen, nothings painted. i really need to get these painted for the simple fact that its getting tiring for both me and my regular gaming partner. almost all of the orks are basecoated black, whereas none of the beastmen are. im in high school, and im a beginner painter. any help would be much appreciated.

why do you want to know? huh? HUH?

Dude if you have painter's block sit down and force yourself to paint. When I have it i say to myself " I'm not gonna stand up until this model is finished! "

Coloured Sprays + Dip = get your models done fast.

Just commit yourself to painting a little every night, or every other night, and slowly things will come together! Don't have everything sitting on your desk at once, as you'll be intimidated by the volume of work to be done. Instead, select, say, 10 models at a time, and just work on finishing them. Then, move onto another 10 models. All those lots of 10 will soon build up, and before you know it you'll have everything fully painted!

If you're looking to paint them quicker, you might want to look into the "Army Painter". In a sentence, you paint on base colours, and then dip it in their shading dip, and you're done! Some examples of this can be found below.

It's worth mentioning that, if you go down this route, a Matt Varnish Spray - such as Vallejo's - is highly recommended. The dip leaves a very shiny, glossy surface that essentially ruins the model. A thin layer or two of Matt Varnish will take care of this.

Got any questions on the Army Painter? Let me know.

Or if you absolutly hate painting you could pay someone to paint them for you.

If you truly think you're going to paint them all, don't buy anything else until you've painted many miniatures. See it as a reward. Once you've finished the beastmen you can get something else perhaps.

Paint the models in a row. 10 times the legs, 10 times the heads, 10 times weapons etc.
Fast, but you will fast get tired
