I've just finnished reading the hours heresy book A Thousand Sons. and i was wondering if anybody knew what happends next to the thousand sons. where are they. and what happened to magnus.
At the end of A Thousand Sons, Ahriman can be seen to be falling to the same hubris that destroyed the rest of his legion and led to Magnus's downfall. This hubris leads Ahriman to creating the Rubric of Ahriman in an attempt to save his legion from the rampant mutations befallins them. The rubric sort of works; all of the non-psyker marines are turned to dust and imprisoned within their armor, forming them into fairly mindless automatons. All of the psykers in the Thousand Sons have their powers amplified by the Rubric. As a punishment for changing his brethren, Magnus exiles Ahriman. Ahriman then spends ten thousand years trying to get into the library guarded by clowns and Magnus plays with himself on the Planet of Sorcerers.
Spoiler:
The Thousand Sons launch multiple revenge attacks against Fenris in an attempt to avenge what befell Prospero. One of these assaults will be the focus of the next Battles of the Space Marines books, and another one of them is focused on in the Space Wolves series. In the Space Wolves series one, the Thousand Sons launch an assault on multiple Space Wolf-protected worlds, then launch a massive invasion of Fenris. The Space Wolves narrowly stop Magnus from manifesting on the surface of Fenris.

For the second spoiler
Spoiler:
If you're talking abou the SW series which is more or less centred on Ragnar Blackmane. I'm pretty sure the plan was to turn everyone into Wulfen which would not only destroy the Sw but also damage the Imperium quite a lot, i'm also pretty sure they don't attack Fenris directly (apart from the first SW book)
Spoilered just in case
