Simple question, does the Leader of the Pack special rule that states that no two SW characters can have the same wargear or same psychic powers apply to apocalypse games? I know most of the FOC rules do not apply, but wanted to see if this one did as it is kind of special.

Leader of the Pack isn't so much a FoC restriction as simply a restriction on how you equip your characters, so I would think it should still apply.

While I agree with Insaniak, Apocalypse is where you can essentially do what you like, provided your opponent(s) agree.
I don't know much about Space Puppies, but the golden 40k rule I play by is essentially: if you want to try something different for fun, then rock on! But if you're trying to do something cheesy just to win, it's probably best not to.
My 2 cents.

So is regular 40K.

So touchy!
Yes, Insaniak, you are correct that "The Most Important Rule" allows you to play the game howsoever you choose.
My opinion, however, is that Apocalypse seems to be designed to let you do whatever you want and be much less strict than a standard game. I, personally, would be much more likely to allow someone to do weird, rule-breaking things like the OP suggested in an Apocalypse game than a regular game.
If you disagree, cool. No problems here.

However Apocalypse is somewhere where you should try to get even fluffier than normal - "playing to win" in Apocalypse is just too easy. So more impressive would be a full Great Company with all characters correctly equipped.

You dont have to give every character a Saga.
You have my viewpoint, you dnot have to follow it. Just, in general, playing to the spirit of the rules is far, far better in the long run.
