I am mainly a dwarf player and would like to know if there is a new book coming out for the new edition of wfb but I wouldn't mind any info on any other new army books being released soon other than the orcs and goblins and tomb kings, if you do know please post.

I think we can all speculate but until it's announced on the GW website it's just rumors. A good way of kind of figuring it out, is to take the least competitive armies out there and figure out how long it has been since their last army book/update and go from there. For now in the world of Fantasy it's Orcs and Goblins and TK, I believe Grey Knights/Inquisition has been announced on the 40k end. Pre 8th I would have been saying Ogres, but 8th has given them a boost, 8th has in turn nerfed a bit Bretonnia and they are up for an update so my guess, and this is based on nothing, is those 2 are due for an update and WE probably needs a good looking into. But so far 2011 has been a good showing for GW and their updating of Fantasy so lets hope it keeps going.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

If only they could simply do updates to army books and then release new unit rules when the models come out.
Dwarves won't likely be updated until other armies who need it more are. Tomb Kings are already announced, Ogres are speculated, and Bretonnians are in need as well. Currently Those armies along with Wood Elves are the oldest books and should be expected first, but who knows.

I'm a new dwarf player, I can say we are fine right now. A new book would be cool with some new models but really our 10pt WS4, STR5, T4, AS5+ death machines are tough to beat, or add 2 pts for 1 more WS and 1 more STR with Stubborn in our Hammerers. Actually everything in our book is pretty darn good, arguments can be made about flame cannons.

As a dark/high elf player I like things as they stand. Not too strong, not too weak, and a variety of builds that can be competitive instead of a cookie cutter list.

I'd say Beastmen and Vampire Counts need a new army book, but eh, they just need a new errata, with significant and minor adjustments respectively.

I think wood elves and beastmen need it most. They have a hard time dealing with the new 8th tactics of large infantry blocks.

The beastmen book was an '09 release iirc. Was the last book done in 7th edition before skaven I believe.
I can guarantee that brets need a new book more than beastmen do, and wood elves are a nightmare from what I read.
It would be nice if they at least gave a release ORDER that way people could plan out their hobby instead of just guessing. I understand not wanting to release schedules as deadlines are often pushed back, but at least knowing the order of things would help immensely.

What exactly are you expecting as an answer?
1.) No, the O&G army book will be the only 8th edition army book GW will release?
2.) As you ask nicely here is the complete release list of army books for the next 5 years?
If we know something, we will post it. There are currently no rumours about a Dwarf army book.

I'm not necessarily asking if just dwarfs are going to get new rules but just generally asking for any speculation on any new books, anyway i have just added some reasoning for maybe why I would want to know.

Well i think dwarfs with the empire and warriors of chaos won't get a new army book for a while, because they don't really need a new book their already good armies as they are.
