This is my 2k Blood Ravens list, if anyone has any comments or thoughts on it i would like to know.

I am aware that this is an army mainly based around shooting, please do not put any comments of putting CC units in.

Well take this from a guy that runs maxed out troop scout lists frequently, snipers suck and taking 5 more is a waste of 65 points. So drop 5 from each squad giving you 130 points and one of the locator beacons. You're Blood Ravens take a librarian lol, since you want shooty take something like Null and any shooting power you like and drop him with one of the other sterns. With the remaining 45 points give yourself a mix of combi-weapons in each squad something like 4 mg in the first 3 in the second and 3 PG in the third. That way when you come down you can have them combat squad and pop transports with mg and than unload with your special ammo on whats inside.

If your going to take scouts, you might want to invest in camo cloaks since I don't imagine they'll be moving too much.

Sternguard should have a mix of combi weapons. I favor melta's but every now and then, I'll throw in a combi-plasma or combi- flamer.

I agree, your army would benefit greatly from a librarian w/ null zone.

Couple of things, why do you think snipers suck and what is the point in adding PG when I can use vengence rounds?

I find 10 man snipers to be made of solid gold, I do recommend Telion in one of the squads gives the entire squad scouts, and then has a heavy two rending pinning 36 inch bolter at bs6 that can pick out targets.

one more thing to note, you should take out the exact costs of things that's a big no no. just list the totals for the squad and all upgrades together.

Two 5 man sniper squads + Librarian and more sw > two 10 man. Anyway the reasoning is so you combat squad the ones with the sw's vengeance rounds don't help with 2+ saves. I do advocate for telion if you can find points elsewhere though being able to snipe off power firsts etc is invaluable at times.

Why do you have 2 Land Raiders? You can't find a better way to spend 500 points than on than 4 Lascannons?

Wow surprised that escaped my notice focused too much on the other parts. I think this looks way better and lets you keep your 10 man sniper squads if you want to.

that's 70 points leftover I would still suggest dropping each down to 5 and dropping the powerfist from the one stern squad you don't want to be assaulting with them anyway. That's 225 points to play with so with that said something that looks like this

That's 6 scoring units, a turn 1 melta/tie up squad in your opponents face. 4 AT capable pieces of armor and one squad with AT and AI weapons and this is all before you drop the hammer literally on turn 2+. Yikes.

Your new list is looking a lot better than the first but it still can be tuned up a little bit.

With the Scouts I'd probably take bolters, yes they still hit on a 4+ and wound on a 4+ but Scouts job is to hold objectives so if anyone comes close you can rapid fire them. Only benefit sniper rifles have is rending. I've used snipers before and they're meh.

Sternguard are pretty cool.

Land Speeder is pretty cool but really should come in pairs. Drop that Razorback from the Devs as it's not doing a fat lot. The Devs are pretty cool but I'd add another Pred TBH as it costs 30 points cheaper and has the same number of shots and average strength is the same giving more armoured targets.
