So I ran into an interesting situation at my FLGS tonight. I was playing a game with a hordes player and we were discussing what abilities each unit has and what not. Not outright reading everything on the card, but asking questions. Of course, being new I asked what quite a few things. You know units, rules, and what not. It was my first time facing a trollblood list like this so I figured why not. However, something seemed to happen later on during the game. I had mentioned earlier that eSorscha had bonded to the Beast-09, which is legal, and made mention of this several times. He then shot me with something hyper aggressive keyed off and Beast moved into put the stop to shooting and to freeze the warbeast. I told him this and okay'd it. Then on my activation I moved the beast somewhere else right up next to something so he had the choice of taking a free strike or being stationary. He ended his turn got the stationary, but badly crippled his target. I then told him his beast was stationary since it had ended it's activation within 2 inches of the Beast and he seemed to be mad. What made me thinkg about this even more that he almost seemed to pushing the blame on to me. That I hadn't properly informed him.
How do you feel about situations like this? I personally feel that it's my opponents prerogative to ask me and be informed. Otherwise, while I will mentioned things like stealth, obviously, and other things I'm not going to point out fine details every single time. Do I have the wrong mindset? I mean it's not as if he told me everything about his units either, I had to ask constantly.
