I checked the usual wikis and, although some of the chapter galleries are updated, the exorcists still only have paint scheme pics from years ago. did their scheme change with the new badab war part II book? does anyone have a link to the color pages detailing their examples of livery? from my perusing of the a friend's copy of the first book, it seems like FW is tweaking the paint colors and schemes (or sometimes just completely changing them from the old RT look). I'm planning on starting up a small exorcist force with the new grek knight codex release but i don't want to do an outdated scheme on them. any help would be appreciated as i don't want to paint my upcoming army in silver...

Afaik they still have the dark red and black scheme.
They used to be yellow but they changed that.

Sorry bro, when I looked at my friends copy it was just to make note for my Carcharodons Chapter. I saw that the Minotaurs were now brown in color so it stands to reason the Exorcists probably had some kind of scheme change.

personally I like the red scheme with black bits and the horned skull icon.

they *probably* do but the FW books expand their painting examples from the 3 or pics available prior of the chapter (i think every marine codex since 3rd edition has had a single exorcist painted in the color section only) to multiple pages with some heraldry examples as well as veteran/terminator schemes which can differ from the norm depending on the chapter. also, FW tends to tweak the schemes a bit even if they don't change them completely (which is fine since alot of the art is so minimal and/or old).

i like the scheme too. i'm planning on doing a themed GK army but i don't want to do the boring GK paint scheme. initially, i had planned to do the army as deathwatch instead but i've already got around 8,000pts of marines painted in black and i didn't want to do more (variety!). when i remembered about the exorcist's fluff, they fit in perfectly (they're still able to use all those =I= marked figs that will be invariably included with GK) with the figs and are a bit ironic (in that i'll finally paint red marines since my 8,000pts are a blood angel successor chapter painted black). if you like the icon, chapterhouse luckily makes shoulder pads in both power armor and terminator flavors so i'll be set with that also!
