I decided to have fun and plug in names and being that I have 4 brothers it is fitting to run 4 squads. Let me know what you all think of the list.

Looks pretty sound, though I'd drop the flamers and heavy flamer off the vets. You've got vets with bs 4 with flamers, and thets a waste, certainly when playing guard.

Its pretty solid for a mech list IMO. The only thing I would change is the loadout on the 4th vet squad. Never been a fan of flame weapons on the vets because it seems like your wasting the BS4. I might also switch up the wargear on the command squad. I've never thought that the GL were very good, but thats just me. DAMN YOU GW! way to put 'good' weapons on the sprues

Fluff wise, I would change the names on the sergeants, simply because the always go by last name, and while a few of them are workable, Sergeants Brandon and Benjamin just don't fit in my mind

Ya, I couldnt use last names for purposes of on the internet and we all have the same last name haha. I figured I needed the flamers as my list only weakness atm is the lack of an ability to control horde. I guess I could give them Meltax3 and just keep the chimera as HF, HF.

I might use first and last names come tournament printed out list. Just dont want to throw all those names on the net.

The list is light on anti-horde, while having plenty of anti-tank. I'd start out by turning the chimeras into HB+HF as you're in little need of the multilaser.

Secondly, infantry-based heavy flamers are such a waste of points, it's awful. That you're wasting perfectly good BS4 on it only adds to its shame. I'd definitely switch out the heavy flamer squad and the CCS grenade launchers into more useful weapons. If you think that leaves you too thin on hordes, then drop one or both of the vendettas to rocket of doom valkyries.

I only added the grenade launchers to the CCS because I had 15 points left and I thought 3 GL's are better then just giving them 1 plasma gun.

you could probably free up some points by taking out a chimera and making the vets ride in a Vendetta, might be able to get the points you need to get more Special Weapons
