Hi Folks,

So, I'm toying with a list that looks kinda like:

Vulkan,
TH/SS Terminator x5 (in Crusader + MM)
10x Scouts, 4 Snipers, HB, 4x CC/BP, PF Sgt
10x Scouts, 4 Snipers, HB, 4x CC/BP, PF Sgt
Storm + MM
Storm + MM
Vindi
Vindi
Vindi

What I'd like to know is can I start both the scout squads on the table, in combat squads, 5 men in the Speeder & the Snipers/HB infiltrating or do I need to deploy the snipers in my deployment zone?

You combat squad when you are deploying; to deploy infiltrators you forgo their normal deployment to hold off until the deploy infiltrators step of mission deployment.

So in a word; no.

For this same reason you cannot hold part of a combat squad in reserve.

What you can do is deploy both halves separately at normal deployment and then Scout move the speeder and the Sniper squad; or you could wait to deploy both halves in the infiltrate step, scout move the BP+CCW scouts to embark on the storms, and then scout move the storms.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

That's what I thought regarding the infiltrate...

Interesting idea with the scout moves though... I like it; would need to check embarkation & turbo boost though, I don't think its possible.

If you deploy the scouts in the storm, they have not embarked and you cna therefore move it Flat Out! in your Scout phase, if you wish
