hi please help?????? a skaven unit 5x5 gets charged in flank by a unit 5x4, losing combat by 4 without losing models. i assume their steadfast having more ranks than opponent, but, do they still get the rank bonus for strength in numbers added to leadership or as they are disrupted from flank charge only go on basic leadership.,

If they are disrupted from flank charge, they have no rank bonus

If you have no rank bonus, SiN does nothing.

Yeah, skaven units getting flanked charged is basically death for your army. You should outnumber just about any enemy though, so avoiding the flank charge shouldn't be too hard.

Not really - Ld8 general (+1 ld banner in unit) on a bell for 18" range is still pretty good. You should still be Steadfast as well.,

Yes but that would require a magical banner so either have the BSB in there too, or use stormvermin which are a tad meh.
