here is a few fig that i found around my room in a box and they were painted BADLY (ebay buys) so i thought i would hae a relaxing afternoon and hae a little paint as i hadnt done so in a VERY long time .....so here is some of them

Gandalf (fellowship) badly painted bought on ebay for 99p striped the paint off with nail varnish remover (only use on metal) and painted.

saruman (orthanc) badly painted bought on ebay for £1.04 striped the paint off with nail varnish remover and painted

8 necrons and a scarab swarm. bought on ebay for £2.99 just undercoated and without the green rods (luckly i had some in my bitz box)

It's definitely neat and tidy, pretty sharp if you've been away from painting in a while. Saruman is my fave of those, but I can't see if the highlight on the robes are your paint or the lighting. Personally I find robes quite tricky, so that it looks so subtle is impressive. As for the crons, they seem quite samey, I would maybe like to something different, like a few coloured panels, or maybe some rust effects for interest. I know that your limited by the models themselves but I'd like to something other than uniform metallics. other than that a pretty crisp effort if your just blowing off the cobwebs!

Gandalf is looking really good, well done.
