Most of your list is fine I think.
What kind of list is your opponent running? Nidzilla, a big swarm etc?
However if your playing against tyranids i would suggest changing the guardian defenders into storm guardians with 2x flamers and a warlock with destructor. That gives you 3 templates for killing the 'nids.

but better use of the guardians with scatter laser, in this case is better than going to shoot cc.
If I used the avatar, i would have given to Warlocks: enhance or Destructor

For just a single point per troop squad (129 as opposed to 128), you could be taking small guardian jet bike squads/
3 Jetbikes w/ an underslung cannon, accompanied by an embolden warlock with a singing spear.
You still get a bs3 s6 heavy weapon, and taking JSJ into consideration you can can fire your cannon at a target if you are 36 inches away (12 inch move+ 24 inch range) and finish your turn 30 inches away (24 inch range + 6 inch assault jump). This increased mobility also makes it very difficult for the tyranids to actually catch your squads and they can scatter on the last turns of a game to claim objectives almost anywhere on the board.
Without an Avatar I almost always recommend guardian jetbikes over defenders or rangers on foot- except in dedicated gun lines.
One thing to consider is just taking a standard mech force.
Tyranids have a very tough time popping transports, especially sickeningly fast Eldar Transports, combined with doom and bladestorm / tri flamer storm guardians for his hordes, and 2 squads of dragons for his bigger guys, you can give Tyranids a tough up hill battle unless he is heavily stocked on hive guard.

I'd agree with akaen on this one, if you are going up against nids you are going to have a really rough time with guardians and Seer council. If assaulted the council can get hung up by swarm rather easily especially if there is a Tervigon in the mix.
Guardians have 4 shots of S6 which is nice, but if heavy swarm, fast assaulters, or yrgml hit the board.. you are hosed.
Mech up with Scatter Lasers and go buy a Night Spinner then proceed to laugh in your constant wins.

Typically I'd say don't waste your points on reaper launcher, but since this is prob jsut a proxy model game and tailoring to Nids... go for it.
Surprise assault does nothing in 5th edition since you can always DS with jump infantry. I can't speak to anything else about the Warp spiders.
4 units at 1500 is realllllllllllllly risky, especially with two of those units being utter fail in CC. It'll do great as long as you don't get overwhelmed.

Heh I've had nothing but golden results with my spinner here and play at least one in pretty much ever list I make tourney or non-tourney. Slaughters horde, immobilizes vehicles (hell even wrecks chimeras and trukks), slows a pile of stuff, and my personal favorite kills that pesky growing trend of FNP with rends and self kills

haha, YES elam. that is precisely the type of list that will give a nid player a fit. You've got lots of fast moving transports with hard hitting units inside, and any reliable way he has of knocking them out of the sky can be focus fired on in the first few turns. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the night spinner, but it does look really interesting, and I'm going to invest in one for my future games.

Ouch, if that mech list with the prisms replaced with Night Spinners doesn't kill them I'd like to know what bug list he is using. That is hardcore tailing vs nids.
Tips for the Night Spinner:
- Hide, hide, hide, hide.
- Hide, hide, hide, hide.
- Tag as many units with a single shot as you can. Every unit hit will get the monofiliment token thus more models killed/slowed overall.
- With two, try to target separate units with it to spread the special rule love, unless you really need a unit dead or it's just a big clumpped up group of models that will get a LOT of hits.
- Use doom in combination with the Night Spinner allowing you to re-roll any non six wound result in hopes of more rends.

That is hardcore tailing vs nids. the scary thing is that its not really "tailoring", It is essentially the standard Mech Eldar all comers list, Designed to play against everything from Space Marines, to Imperial Guard to Nids. Its just that the way the Nid Codex is designed, Eldar have something of a natural advantage against it with their most common builds. The fact that farseers make a mockery of Nid's preferred anti tank (Zoeys) is just insult to injury.

Not so long ago
I used to transport the precious cargo inside, including Eldrad
those cockroaches I have appeared from under the transport
have locked my door out
mine are dead and roasted
5 points (2 serpent, Eldrad 1, 2 DA) on duty only
playing impaired
while the Night Spinners, fired but with poor results
bad luck?
but then I changed my mind

I shot and killed both
I was able to challenge all the goals last round
but did not give me satisfaction
too many attacks from the deep
too many tests on the moral
I have more fun with
