This is somethin that has been buggin me for the last 2 days, in the options section for the warboss it says can take a squig does taking the squig replace the warboss' weapon in a single hand or can the squig be modeled onto the base of the warboss?

The squig is just a piece of gear that can be added to the warboss. An item will only replace one of his weapons if its listed under the sections where it says "may replace (slugga or choppa) with".

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

the Squig is just an extra piece of wargear. like Tank-busta bombs.

the nice thing about the squig is that he adds an attack regardless of the warboss's weapons. +1 attack for a PK FTW!!!

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

The squig is not listed as a weapon of any type, it's just a suitably orkish piece of stat bonus wargear.

Also, what the model looks like and where it keeps weapons has no bearing on what the rules say it does. A model that has a gun and two close combat weapons will be able to use them all in the appropriate manner, no matter if he has his hands tied, the gun stuck where the sun doesn't shine and the hand weapons stuffed in his boots. Ruleswise it's a model with some weapons, and he can use them.

A friend of mine recently claimed that old DE Blasters were Pistol weapons(at least for Wyches) because the 1 old Metal Wych model had it modeled in such a fashion.

I hit him with the old DE codex(both literally and figuratively) and called him several names questioning his intelligence.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
