So in response to my post-FAQ Black Templars list my friend upped the stakes by switching to the dreaded fzorgle obliterator combo, leading to the annihalation of my poor crusading maniacs. What I want to know is how to counter a dual lashprince and obliterator list as Black Templars. And yes, I realize that killing the DPs would be the best defense, but they're most likely going to make it to my cyclone Terminators before I can kill them both, and that means that my Terminators are in trouble...
At 1750 pts. I run 2 tank hunting cyclone terminator squads with 2 chainfists, 2 lasplas squads, 2 rhinoes with 5-man MM/MG squads, 3 land speeder typhoons, 1 venerable tank hunting MM dread in a pod and the Emperor's Champion and 9 of his best friends with MG and PF in a pod.

Now that storm shields are good for BT, maybe it's time to put away the cyclone MLs and trade them for some TH SS guys. If he lashes you, you move 2D6 from the prince, then a further D6 of your own. And kit your squads for close combat instead of las-plas long range shooting. Your extra consolidation moves should be used to enhance your army, not hinder it-work with it, and build your list around the extra movement, rather than try to fight against it

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I think you are missing a lot of the problem. The main tactic of the dual lash + oblits army is to lash your valuable troops, bunch them up, then plasma cannon them to death. The typical defense to this is to have everything you can in vehicles as much as possible until the DPs are dead.
That said, I have no advice on how to handle them as BT.

Instead of having your important units in the front, screen them with other models so there is no way for them to move closer. Effectively make a box around them with other things so lash can't move your guys around much.

Juraigamer's suggestion is a valid one. If you interlock squads you can reduce the impact/utility of Lash.
Your lists looks to have the shooting needed to kill DPs. Don't forget to hose them down with bolters/bolt pistols too. And assault them whenever you can; mine die to S4 attacks often enough.

I guess this is as good advice as I'm going to get. The only problem I can see with this tactic is that plasma cannon fire from the obliterators would have a better chance of hitting, but I guess it's better than being out in the open...
