As usual I don't hate or dislike republicans I just disagree with the way they want to govern. That said I hope they get everything they are battling for, and take both the senate and white house in 2012.

Here's why. While listening to the news over the weeks, I hear this "Police and fire department union pull their endorsement of Gov.Walker. in Wisconsin. I thought to myself if they were foolish enough to vote for a republican while being in a union, they get what they deserve. those 40k people protesting, I wonder how many voted, I'll just say Democratic turnout there was LOW. Here in Ohio and elsewhere the unions are up in arms, all the people I know (father in law and his family) Voted red, and they are all in unions, now they will lose everything too, good. My wife's grandfather, is upset because the new governor wants to tax social security and pension plans. He voted on the "they are gonna take my guns away" cause. They also voted to cut most property taxes, so the local school here can afford to bus kids. It's an upper class place so I'm sure they can just drive themselves. Health care? I hope it's done for, the mess that bill is lays smack on the heads of the pres and democrats, if you can't defend against "you are gonna kill grand ma" you are just gonna fail at everything.

But hey it's black history month and I'm black, so here is a fun fact. Black voter turn out was a whopping 10%. I was doing phone work in Cincinnati and you know what I got.

Lady "Is Obama up for election?"

Me "No, but without the house and our governer..."

Lady " I don't care about all that *&^"

Click

They are going to cut energy assistance, hopefully they cut every program they can. I hope next year is as cold as this one.

Now I know unions and poor people didn't cause the economic woes. It was greedy people trying to game the system. They got all the tax cuts and bail outs, and everyone else gets the blame. After everything is gone and we are still in debt because we cut things like the 1/10 of 1% that is foreign aid and not deal with big things like military spending, I wonder what people will say.

All of this is the fault of President Obama. Who couldn't muster up the nerve to speak out against governors who vowed to "Leave the union" or "resort to 2nd amendment rights" to topple him. Even Bush could keep his own party in line and they hated him.

I guess I'm turning into a bitter old man :(

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

So you want to shock the stupidity out of the people that vote against their own interests/don't care?

Yea, one begins to think that that is the only way sometimes...

Walker didn't include eliminating collective bargaining in his election platform. :/

He didn't, but he's a Republican. It would be like supporting a Democrat only to be horrified they want easy access to abortions.

Probably work

It sure would be nice if we could escape partisanism and be ushered into a golden age where we have more than two sock puppets being operated by the same evil.

People are the evil, seems it's easy to point a finger than say. "We all are a little at fault". Nobody to blame but ourselves and all that jazz.

Sure, we're all a little at fault, but you can only at most try to fix yourself. You can't do jack about the guy to the left and the right (no pun intended) of you.

Got to agree with you. the old "dance with the one that brung you" time.
i think the back and forth of power swings (Red v Blue) is what is actually causing
it so long for anything to get done. and until the 2 "sock puppets" learn to work for
us and not against each other( or a 3rd option arises!) nothing will change. quickly anyway.

The funny thing is politicians continue to win while everyone else loses.

If the USA has 200mill population (?) exactly how many hammers is that?

Obama keeps talking about change... maybe this is the type of change it needs.

300 million peeps actually, and that's 900 million hammers if you include two hands and one mouth.

I suggest keeping pointy objects and power tools away from her as well.

Which kinda reminds me when I was little I asked my dad:
Me "What's the difference between democrat and republican?"
Dad "Republicans have a lot of money and democrats expect everyone to wipe their ass."

Wise words from a wise man.
