I'm trying to find a different model/conversion for Speeders as I just don't like the model, but would like to use the weapon load-outs on something comparable.

I was thinking about converting bikes -> jetbikes and loading them out as "speeders".

Anyone find another model in a different range or conversion they like?

I have used the master of the raven wing bike as a base for my speeders, I cut out the cloak and the plasma cannon. The addition of a aslt cannon or MMelta in the plasmas place finishes it off. Sorry about the bad pic, but it gets the idea across.

I dont think they would sell that any more but it seems like a good idea. I saw a picture a while back of a hover quad. It was quite cool actually. They used 2 bikes with no wheels and some plasticard to make a seat in the middle. I think he used it as the ravenwing commander but it could be used as a speeder.

I'm looking at more of a bike with no wheels mod, myself.

I think between the extra parts from a Drop pod and a few bikes, I might be able to come up with something.

I just don't like the open look of the speeder.

I actually like the tempest speeders, minus the grav things on the front.
