I think they all look awesome, particularly the hornet and the shadow spectres.

does anyone know when the rules will be tournament legal? I'm fine with buying the models from FW.

how long does it usually take for FW rules to be tourney legal?

i-Eldar: there's an aspect for that.

You didn't see it posted because it was in News and Rumours or 40k General Discussion

And they're actually already released.

As for 'rules being tournament legal' it's up to the Tournament Organizers. They generally disallow them because there's a stigma against FW's stuff.

The finalized rules, however, will be available in Imperial Armour volume 11: 'The Doom of Mymeara'--which isn't even up for preorder...yet.

FW rules usually become Tourney-legal when they are published in a volume of Imperial Armour, even then, you must check with the TO beforehand if you are allowed to use them.

I've only ever seen one tournament where FW rules were legal...

But yeah, pretty much its down to your tournament organizer. I doubt you'll ever have an opportunity to use it in one.

We used some FW stuff at Platinum Snow Devil, however it was a small tournament and the FW stuff was allowed after checking by the TO.

Still, as the releases are old news perhaps the thread should be locked.

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
