After much contention with my local group, we finally found the specific rule stating a unit can assault multiple units, but cannot be a single model unit, (as per the wording of "the closest attacking model must be moved to contact the closest model in the enemy unit against which the assault was declared. Then remaining models can assault models belonging to other enemy units) but can a vehicle then ram multiple units or does it require a squadron of vehicles?
I'm going off the assumption that similar actions follow a similar suit, but with gw, that's rarely the case.
Thanks.

Ramming doesn't target anything, so there's nothing to restrict.
You pick a direction and go, and the rules mandate what happens next.

Assuming that you can hit both vehicles at exactly the same distance (2 rhinos parked parrallel, for example, being rammed by a battlewagon) i'd say yes. If not the one you contacted first would be rammed, but you wouldn't be able to reach the other without exploding the first one and driving over the flaming debris.
Anyone with a rulebook and search-fu want to back me up/shoot me down

Are we being practical, or dealing with theoretical invulnerable tanks ramming packed arrays of immobile weaponless open topped 1/2" square AV2 enemy vehicles?
Theoretically, a single vehicle could ram any number of vehicles simultaneously or in sequence. In practice, it's going to be difficult to do better than two simultaneously (if the two vehicles are lined up perfectly with the ramming vehicle). The the odds are against destroying multiple vehicles in a row simply because the distance that the vehicle has actually moved is used to calculate the impact strength.

As said above, pick a direction and go. If your trying to ram a tank though, unless you hit both at the same time its going to be hard. I'd have no problem with a tank driving through infantry and then hitting the enemy tank. That should be fun actually... I think I'll try it

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space. |

Remember also, that for each one that it hits, it takes a hit itself, so while you may be running into 2 tanks, they are returning two hits back upon you.

Simple. P69
However,if the rammed vehicle is removed because it suffers a 'destroyed - explodes!' damage result, the rammer continues its move, until it reaches its maximum move distance or another enemy (which it will tank shock or ram again!)
