Hi all,

I recently decided to start up a WHFB army as well as 40K, and just finished my Warrior Priest last week - some of you may have seen him in Feb's MotM, but I though I'd post a few more pics here too... C&C welcome as ever...

Cheers!

Nice work!

He is an awesome model, I don't even do Empire but have often been tempted by this mini.

Keep this standard up throughout the whole army and it will look very decent indeed!

Need more 's in my life!

Nice. However, some areas show that you used too much glaze or wash. Eg. Forehead and base of cloak.

Thanks for all the comments...

@AvatarForm - The heavy wash on the forehead is to accentuate the scar/brand and show the reddened skin surrounding it (maybe it looks heavier on the pic, it's not so severe IRL). Point taken about the cloak though (if you're referring to the round bit just right of centre at the bottom of the cloak, there is a recess there, it's not just a heavy wash pooling). But this too may be partly caused/exaggerated by the lighting on the photo...

Nice job, this is a lovely figure. I have one of my own and I don't really do much with empire, but he was a must when I first saw him.

@Emperors_Champion and Howard A Treesong - I agree totally, it's a great miniature. I'd have been tempted to get it even if I didn't collect Empire...
