I have a question regarding the vehicle squadron rule that treats every crew stunned as crew shaken. Let's say a squadron of 3 War walkers is shot by a same volley of shots and scored 3 penetrating hits. Rolling 2, 4 and 6, the volley destroys all except one member of the squadron, who is stunned. But since at the time of shooting it was a part of the squadron, ergo benefiting from squadron rules, can it move next turn due to only being shaken or does that stun take effect since he's the only one left now?

All shots are resolved at the same time, and therefore you were part of a squadron when the "stunned" result was inflicted, and therefore can move.

I concur with Nosferatu.
Just as an aside, I think the vehicle squadron rules blow. Just my opinion, ofc.

Yes, that was exactly my reasoning, but I let it slide because the guy I was playing had been playing a much longer time than me. Didn't matter much in the end anyway, just wanted to check what's the proper way of resolving this.

Players who have been playing for a long time often have a better grasp of the rules than newer players.......but we also can sometimes have a problem remembering rules that have changed. Most players tend to best remember the rules at the time we first learn how to play, as new editions come out the rules change and new rules get added. These changes and new rules arent always the first ones that come to mind for older players.
So if (and this is a big if) you have a good idea of the correct rule, go ahead and talk it out in depth. You may well give the other player a better understanding of the rules.

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k). |

I agree with Sliggoth, it is easier to learn a new rule than to unlearn an old one!
All players learn by not only being told what the rule or rule change is, but by being pointed to the right section in the rulebook.
