I was dubious about Jason Momoa being cast as Conan at first, but now I am uncomfortably on the fence. I will withhold further movement toward enthusiasm until a trailer is produced.

I'm optimistic about this movie.

Honestly, I've seen many stills and production shots, and this guy captures the REAL look of the hero that Robert E. Howard created MUCH more than Arnie ever did.

He's supposed to be pantherish....not a bulky huge mass of muscle.

If the acting is halfway decent, and the story manages to avoid too much Hollywood "formula" and gets it even just a little right....I'll be thrilled.

The Soloman Kane movie got the shaft here in the U.S. (it's a raging success in Europe, but Independant movies have a huge hurdle to get over here in the States) I hope this dark fantasy hero gets the respect due him.

While I did enjoy the first Conan film (hated the second) I'm not a big fan of Arnold (in anything)...so I have no attachment to the idea of Arnold as Conan and will most likely go see this film with a cautious optimism.
