I need to check that Facebook page, but I have lingering issues with Facebook as a company, so I'm still resisting.

But to the OP, you're about 10 minutes away from The Only Game in Town in Somerville, which - I've been told by the owner - does do some Fantasy days in their rotation. I keep seeming to walk in on "Wall to wall carpet of kids playing [insert TCG] day," so I can't say for sure how many people show up for those.

I'm about 30-40 minutes away, but I mosey up to Somerville once in a blue moon to browse. I can't guarantee my availability (especially since I have a crapton of painting that won't do itself), but I'm always interested in playing Fantasy (or even 40K, though that's kind of a side interest).

Let me know if your available on a Saturday we can meet up at Only Game or even at another store... I have a 40K army but I like Fantasy better and I'm just learning 8th edition after not playing for a few... I also saw the other posts about NJ but everyone was talking 40k and Warmachine and wanted to find people interested in Fantasy

The Warhammer 'Ard Boyz for Fantasy is right around the corner so expect to see a lot more Fantasy shoing up in Northern Jersey. NJ Gamer will start to run a few events to build comfort levels with the new army books. We have a core group of gamers looking to start playing Fantasy over the Summer also, Lizardmen, Dwarfs, Empire, Brittonians, Skaven, and a few other armies will be making appearances.

Keep an eye on the NJ Gamer Facebook page for event postings. Also, people post "looking for a game" wall posts all the time, so feel free to jump on that also.

My dwarfs look forward to meeting you this summer! Once they have bases...

LarryD, our store Mighty Titans Hobbies and Games in Landing, NJ is running a Fantasy tournament tomorrow (March 5th). It's probably about a 40 minute drive from you in Martinsville. If you have time, I hope you'll stop by and check it out. If nothing else you should be able to talk to a few people from the area who play.
