My two main armies are the tyranids and the orks, and quite often at my flgs, I find myself in 2 v 1 where 2 respected opponents seek to test themselves against my joined armies of orks and 'nids.
So me in my desire to play fluffy want to know if my fellow dakkanites can offer me some reasoning as to why the loner tyranids would team up would the battle crazed orks.

Orks loot things...
They can loot pretty much anything that moves and most things that don't move...
Maybe they manged to lobotomise the Swarm leader and replaced it with a weirdboy brain or some kind of mekboy invention that allows them to control the Swarm through their new puppet.
