Okay here goes,

I have a unit of say Imperial Guard, say 30 strong (for now) and they are strung out and get assaulted by two enemy units, an assault squad and a Termie squad. Now the assault guys go first and they kill X PBIs, and I remove them from the ones engaged with the termies, leaving the termies with nobody in base contact with them, and for clarification out of the 2" range rule.

Do the Termies still get to attack the Guardsmen even tho they have nobody in base contact anymore when their Int. turn comes up?

visual:

I= Guardsmen
A= Assault Squad
T= Termies

Begining of combat:

TTTTT
IIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIIIAA
AAAAAA

Assault Squad Kills X and leaves Termies with no one is base contact nor within 2"

TTTTT

IIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIIIAA
AAAAAA

Do the Termies get their attacks when their turn comes up?

Also any page numbers you guys give would be helpful.

Yes. this is explicitly mentioned in the rules for working out who can fight, which is before blows are stuck.

As nosferatu said.
The relevant rules are on pages 35 and 41 of the main rulebook as well as this errata;

ERRATA
Page 41 – Multiple Combats, Attacking.
A third bullet point should be added, as follows:
• Models that at the beginning of the combat (before any
model attacked) were engaged with more than one enemy
unit, but were in base contact with just one of the enemy
units, must attack that unit.
Page 41 – Multiple Combats, Attacking.
In all three bullet points, the word ʻcombatʼ will be changed
to ʻround of combatʼ.
