Subject: How do you transport your Eldar vehicles!??!?!

I have a Army Transport Division so I have a really big carrying case. I am starting an army of Eldar and I have so many vehicles. Like 11 or so total...a mix of Wave Serpents, Fire Prisms and a Falcon. How do you guys transport these? I don't want to get 1x 3" foam tray per one. That won't even fit in my case! How would you guys suggest I transport these vehicles in my Division case? Anyone have this problem? -_-

I use a custom foam tray inside a cardboard GW shipping box.
It fits into my duffel and allows me to carry all 9 of my tanks - turrets included (2 fire prisms, 1 falcon, 1 night spinner and 5 wave serpents).
I custom cut the foam myself.

I believe you can get onto Battlefoam's website and get custom foam cutouts that would help.

I tried that option first for mine. Two tanks per layer. 4 layers. Pretty much an entire case there.
Would entail getting an entire case just for my tanks.
Would then need another case for my infantry.
And for my walkers/mcs and other light skimmers.
Wasn't part of the cost-effectiveness program.

I went the battlefoam route for my dark eldar because they offered custom cut foam for my raiders and ravagers which probably would have been a real pain to cut myself. But 9 DE skimmers do take up some space. Between them and the rest of my army I have filled out a 1520XL which is like a large suitcase on wheels. It's not the easiest thing to take with me to the flgs but it really does protect my models nicely. In hindsight I'm happy to have paid the premium for battlefoam and saved myself the trouble of trying to cut foam or pull pluck foam to fit my oddly shaped skimmers.

Oh so you can fit 2x Wave Serpents/ FirePrisms or Falcons in 1x 3" Army Transport foam tray???
They had told me you can only fit one...they probably just want me to buy more...
I'm still waiting for the models to come in...does the Falcon, Prism and WS all have the same body type?

the answer to the above question/ statement is a yes and no, yes two tanks will go side by side if the turret is left where it is or stored as i suggest further on, and no only one tank will fit if you remove the turret and place it in a separate pocket for transporting. And yeah they do want you to spend more money, game stores, any store, relies on your spending so they can make their money to support themselves.
this is also a yes and no answer, the Falcon and Fire Prism have the same style body, but the new Fire Prism has a turret weapon that is almost as long as the tank itself. The new Wave Serpent is also the same body style as the other two but with the addition of fins that look like the turret aerial fins, these fins are placed on the armor wings of the body and thusly 'change' the body style. go to Battlefoam and you will see a neat solution to cutting or plucking your foam to fit all three types of models.
if you can i also suggest that you magnetize the Fire Prisms cannon so that it can be removed from the turret and stored in a slitted pocket in your foam tray, i also suggest a thin piece of foam like a layer dividing sheet so that you can cut this piece and lay it over the front of your tanks then place the turrets on that foam sheet so that the turrets have a lower profile when riding on the wings of the tank and won't stick out above the foam tray which is the biggest reason for busted turret aerial fins, plus the foam sheet will prevent the turret from scratching the paint on the forward wings of the model.
Edited for typos

Battlefoam may not fit in the case, but you can take their idea and apply it to the pick and pluck foam that does come with your case, allowing you to store all your tanks within the same pockets be they fireprism falcon, nightspinner, firestorm, or wave serpent. there's also the possibility that you'll be able to store the new forgeworld tanks, the warp hunter and the hornet in the same pockets as well, but i think the hornet may be smaller and would require extra padding. anyways though the idea as stated is that you can do the same thing they did with your foam, and be assured it will fit.

The hornet is smaller (a bit larger than a vyper, but taller).
The Warp hunter is a bit longer than a falcon due to its fantail.
