hey guys, i'm interested in converting a fig to use a Rambo-style compound bow but am having trouble finding 40k sized bits for the Harker figure i plan to have wield it. any ideas on where i can find the appropriate bits? i don't have a strong preference regarding the pulleys on the ends as long as it looks modern-ish and not pure fantasy; any help would be appreciated as my greenstuff-fu is weak.

the closest i've found so far are the stormfall archers listed below.

Woah there, if those are the closest thing... Personally i think those models are ass-ugly, if you dont mind a little divergence i would suggest the waywatcher lord from the woodelf range from GW his bow is easily converted and he has a very cool pose. EDIT: WHOOPS didnt notice the text. Not sure where you can find a 'Tek Bow' (If you dont know what a tech-bow is you fail). I am pretty sure there is a warmahordes figure with one.

it's the closest i've found that's not a strictly fantasy bow although i agree its pretty ugly. all the usual scifi games from the past 10 years don't have any bows that i can recall.
