Planning on completing a battle with someone today and we have a few questions about wounds....

1) If two IC's join a squad, and both IC's are identical (in this case, tyranid primes), would they roll saves collectively just as normal identical units would? and would they place wounds so that they would kill one IC before putting a wound on the other?

Example: Squad joined by 2 identical Tyranid Primes takes wounds and 4 of those wounds are placed on the Tyranid primes. Do i roll all 4 together? and if so, say 2 of those wounds fail their armor save, do both wounds get allocated to ONE Tyranid Prime (assuming they have the exact same gear load out).

2) The same as above, except for a squadron of MCs with identical load outs.

1) Yes. If they are absolutely identical, thye are like anything else that is identical. Follow the complex unit rules whcih require you to remove one wounded model first before placing wounds on the next

HOWEVER this only applies to shooting. in combat they are a separate unit, therefore do not take wounds together.

2) MCs are a complex unit, therefore are treated as such. Being an MC is irrelevant
