So I've decided I need a crap load of Ogyrns for a list I'm working on. I've got 4 so far:

Ogryn troop converted for a Mage Knight tribal Brute with a heavy stubber and Catachan knife. These will comprise the bulk of my Ogryns, 13 in total.

I decided that my Bone 'eads were going to be robots:

And I scratch built one that I like so much, I may make another:

What do you think? I'm probably going to repaint the Tribal Brutes, as the paint job they come with is sub-par, and obviously two of the Bone 'Eads aren't painted yet.

My only concern is that they may be on the short side for Ogryns. Also, I need more stubbers for when the other Tribal Brutes show up.

Those Ogryn look a bit... rough. That gun is really awkwardly stuck on the Mage Knight model, and the robots are decidedly low-detail. The little robot you made is cool though.

My first reaction was "What the ****" I guess it could work. But always though Ogryns were guys, but whatever, Id allow it.

The Mage Knight models come with a craptactular paint job, so yes, a repaint is in order.

Also: How do you think the mage knight models can be improved? Remove the club and put the Ripper there? Bigger guns? Shootas, perhaps?

These will actually look pretty good painted up. I would twist the gun towards his body so it looks like his hand is holding where the grip would go.

Also, in the picture it looks like you are painting directly on the plastic on the great coat guy? Are you not priming your models?

That model was primed grey.

I was testing out color schemes with three different primers (white, black, grey). That just happened to the be one that was sitting on my desk. The black primed ones look much better.
