Hey all,

So I wrote two Killteam Lists, one for Black Templars, and one for Tau. I decided to focus on the Elite teams, not the horde. So I was wondering, out of the following two lists, who would win? I don't actually have the lists with me, so they will be rough.

Black Templars:

PA Sword Brother w/ dual LC, frags, crusader seals, FC, Termie Honours, and Fleet (I think)

PA Sword Brother w/ PW, frags, crusader seals, FC, Termie Honours, and Counter-attack

PA Sword Brother w/ frags, crusader seals, FC, Termie Honours, and Infiltrate

PA Sword Brother w/ frags, crusader seals, FC, Termie Honours

PA Sword Brother w/ frags, crusader seals, FC, Termie Honours

Tau:

Crisis Shas'vre w/ Cyclic Ion Blaster, BC, other wargear

Crisis Shas'ui w/ BC, Flamer, other wargear

Crisis Shas'ui w/ BC, PR, other warger.

I can't remember the Crisis suit's special rules. So, here is my question. With the Tau Crisis Team's greater manoeuvrability and firepower vs. the Sword Brethren's combat prowess, who would win? Keep in mind, the Black Templar's Bolt Pistols, are S4, against T4 of the Tau.

Also, the lists will not change. I am a stubborn son of a female dog, and will ignore advice on the construction of the lists. And, if this post is in the wrong forum, sorry, move it please!

Thanks in advance,

Doop.

Probably the Templars...
If 1 Tau crisis suit dies then they have to take a Ld test (From what i remember my Killteam knowledge is a touch shakey)

Wait, where did fleet come from? I don't think Sword Brethren can take fleet. Furious charge, counter attack or infiltrate.

That depends on, oh, terrain, dice rolls, players playing them, etc.

To put it better - get these two armies and put together a battle report with them. It'll make for a far better thread

That's true, in the average 40k game, PA SB squads can only take one special rule/squad. However, in Kill Team, 3 of your models may take a USR, representing specialists. I chose FC for my squad, and the other three are the USR's I gave to my specialists.

I would, except I am a little tight for cash at the moment, also, I'm in Year 12 and trying to concentrate on my studies (although that obviously isn't going so well ). If the board was just plain, who do you think it would go to?
