Hello everyone. As the title suggests after a much overdue wait my local gaming store has announced the start of a Flames of War escalation league starting next month (April 1st to be exact) and immediately I went with the army I have always wanted to do, Finland. I chose these guys for several reasons one of which being it would add a unique flavor to the pool of opponents (so far we have x3 Germans, x2 Americans, x1 British, x2 Russian) and that is just the initial choice armies with many more just like them sure to follow.

I have pointed up a list in the past and my final goal for 1500-200pts. will be towards a Sturmikomppania or a Jaakarikomppania however the starting point value for the campaign is 600pts. This is my first ever attempt and will eventually be my first ever game for FOW so please any and all advice is welcome and appreicated. I have built both of these lists with being mobile and hard hitting and as usual with all my threads any and all thoughts, ideas and suggestions are more then welcome and in this case definitely needed, and if one is, which one is better? Welcome to Flames of War! Well, I don’t play Finns, but I have played against them. The StuGs are easy targets. I would suggest (because I hate seeing them) plenty of tank hurting infantry and sprinkle in some anti-tank guns. As you get more points, add in some artillery that can drop smoke and you should have fun.
