Subject: Aggressvie Tau?

I'm sick of playing defensively every match. I understand the aggressive option is not as effective, but I want to play it for fun. Anyone got some tips on how to make Tau more aggressive? I've been doing something like this, and I guess its been working pretty well.
I take 4 pirahnas and turbo into their face. While they are trying to deal with that, I circle my vehicles around with 3 suits behind each. Even doing this, I have trouble not getting pushed back into my deployment. Dont get me wrong, I win alot of games. Its just how I win them that is getting old.
So, I welcome all tactic ideas.

I have played ~30+ games with Tau. I am no expert on how to play Tau but I tend to notice how massacred our units become when in combat. We can not even tar-pit (except maybe for Kroot depending on the number of attacks the other player's unit has) other units and I think this is particularly Tau's issue is with being aggressive.
But on that note, I think playing with Kroot might be a good option for you to allow parts of your forces to be agressive.
Other than that, *shrug*.

playing alot with tau, i have found using alot of crisis battle suits bt equipping them with (fusion blasters and missle pods) is very very effective at tearing apart space marines,
while this is happening you can be setting up tau squads within 12" to give them that deadly x2 shots each. then withdraw, but move a devilfsh into place infront of retreating tau to block any counter attack or charge from the enemy. continue to do this, and you will keep even the likes of beserkers and death company at bay !

Roll up at max speed with fire warriors in devilfish, turn each fish 45 degrees towards eachother and fill the area between the fish with fire warriors who all rapid fire the target, survivors can only assault the fishes since the hulls are in the way and only hit on 6's in assault. You need some long range support to pop any dangerous arty, if you are worried about survivors you can shoot the gun pods out and have them shoot/block as well.

Lots of fire warrior squads in devilfishes, and deep striking squads of XV8s? They could then be equipped with flamers and missile pods, on a bit of a suicide mission, but jet packing away at the last minute to draw the enemy's assault out of line, and then that unit can be pounded by firepower (as long as your suits can escape or die quickly). Turbo it all in their face, use the old dirty tactic of "getting out of the rear of the devilfish, so it sits between you and the enemy, exactly 10" away from the enemy so they have to go round it, and therefore cant assault you that turn even with moving, but you can rapid fire before next turn hopping back in and boosting off from pressure?" And stealth suits can get quite close without being butchered as much as other tau, plus any tanks are Fast so therefore very maneuverable. hope that helped.

Thanks for the advice....I'm probably alone in this thought, but I hate firewarriors for their cost...I guess I'm gonna have to start running them again!
