I bought a battle force and daemon prince a while back and am thinking of ideas on how to expand on it and I have thought of this:

I agree about the first list looking better, and for dropping Kharn (mostly because I hate using special characters that a list is not designed around). However I would not add another daemon prince, instead going for more troops, because more marines on the table is the road to victory!

Get some melta bombs or personal icons for the bezerkers. I could also drop 3 bezerkers for Rhinos for them, but the bad thing is I would need to buy 2 more rhinos.

put the single oblit with one of the other squads, they die to fast other wise and don't do much. Also get a lash DP, would work better with ur army.

OK thanks for the tip. Will the Bezerkers be OK on foot? Should I add icons to any of the units? Right now with the lash prince change I am looking at some extra points:

berzerkers should not be on foot. crawling 6" every turn to reach an enemy isnt pleasant and we cant always rely on Lash to bring your opponent closer to CC with the berz.
i would actually even remove the berzerkers altogether and get regular csm for a more versatile unit that is can handle itself with firepower and in CC. With the points spare can consider either all the various marks (except tzeentch) for either CC effectiveness or to last out longer in the game.

Should drop the power fist on the zerkers and just take a power weapon and zerkers should never walk they will be shot to bits before they do anything

Thanks for the advice all. I really don't want to put the zerks into a Rhino as I don't want to buy one or buy another box of termies to convert for more oblits at this current time. I'm tempted to drop a unit of zerks, bump the remaining zerks to 13 strong and add in Kharn, I really just like him. And I would not be moving 6 inches a turn I would be running so it's like 9 1/2 inches a turn, 4 foot table I'm already 12 inches in so like 2 turns tops and I have a lash prince to speed it up bringing them their offering to Khorne. So with Kharn or without I still have 10 pts are those best spent on icons for DSing 1 or both of the oblits?

don't deep strike the Oblits as they need 2 b on the table to regain their points, zerkers really need the rhino as they just get shot at so much because of the threat they pose and it gives extra movement

My advice:
NEVER footslog berzerkers
always break up obliterators into the smallest possible squads for better wound allocation / target preference
If you wanna use lash- use a sorceror in a rhino in one of your squada- not a daemon prince that can be targeted turn 1
Power fist is expensive for plague marines- think about how much 2 PF attacks a turn is worth to them- I'd consider dropping them and throwing in more oblits

I didn't feel comfortable dropping the power fists on the Plague Marines, I never know when I might get attacked by a deff dread or something they cannot handle so I think the 50 pts while expensive is worth the piece of mind. With everyone in Rhinos I have dropped the Lash, I also like I have consolidated back down to 2 chaos gods, I may try the lash and see how it goes. Still trying to decide on the extra 16 pts, I thought a plasma pistol would be cool but all my guys have PFs and it would hurt to lose them, so now I am thinking extra armor on one of the Rhinos or a havoc launcher.

This is what I would run. Power fists for plague marines is too expensve at 1500 points. If a dread gets into your plague marines, then you've already made a mistake too big for power fists to fix.
