Trying to help a friend get into the game. He has a couple of oooold Hive Tyrants, and I may give him a newer one (the intermediary model with the big head crest, not the newest one).

In trying to make a starting army for him, people keep suggesting to arm a Tyrant with a pair of Twin-Linked Devourers with Brainleech Worms. But I don't think any of the Monstrous Creatures come with such a thing.

I have a ton of the little ones from the Termagant box, but I can't help but think they would look silly due to size differences.

Aside from "glue two of those little ones together", has anyone come across a good solution to this?

(or is there a larger model for them that I've just missed?)

Yeah the new tyrant and carnifexes sets come with them. If you shop around you may be able to find them on bitz sites as well.

This is what I used to make a Dakkatyrant. Made from a carnifex and a toy I had found. I used Barbed stranglers, venom cannons and the fronts of devourers to make the guns.

I did something similar to Fallenbourne - it's the easiest way to make twin-linked or just monstrous devourers
