First off, I am new to 40k and have not done this type of fine detail painting before. I am starting with a Eldar Battleforce and plan on adhering to tutorials available from GW. I feel that this will be easier for a newbie like me to get started. As to why I chose Alaitoc, I liked the blue camo paint job on the War Walker tutorial as well as the ranger fluff out of the Codex. I think the multiple blues and a depth of color to the vehicles that isn't found on in the typical Saim-hann. I painted most of my guardians and decided they looked horrible so decided to strip them and start over. I finished my first Guardian over the weekend and am very pleased with how he came out. So I will attempt to keep this Blog going as I build my force, as well as attempt to keep moving forward rather than sitting on a half finished army. I will post a picture of my first Guardian tonight for C&C.
