3) under 500p
4) you can put the points they are worth on

Master Rune of Smiting: each wounds causes D6 wounds
Rune of Speed: +1 initiative
Rune of Fire: flaming attacks
Rune of Resistance: re-roll failed armor saves
Rune of Preservation: immunity to killing blow and poisoned attacks (acts like the enemy doesn't have them)
Rune of Stone: +1 armor save
Shieldbearers: unit strength of 3 even in challenges +2 armor save two extra WS5 strength 4 initiative close combat attacks that do not benefit from runes
That gives him a +1 armor save, 4 rune attacks,2 extra non rune attacks from the guys carrying the shield , 5 initiative, 3 wounds, 5 tough, 4 strength,7 weapon skill, 4 ballistic skill, and 3 move. So I'd say that is pretty hard to beat.

Wounding on 5`s then i have a 3+ armor and parry. Not much of a chance.
Even if all 100 get to attack they only do 2 wounds (rounded up)

How are the men at arms only wounding on a 5, they are str3 with halberd, so will be str 4.
so wounding on 4's then a 4+ armor with parry.
