So I'm thinking about how I can make a female vampire and I've got most of it figured out, I'm going to use a daemonette head and torso (the corsetted one and I'll equal out the chest with GS) and the arms of a Deldar wytch (the one with the extended arm and the staff blade thing or one with a dagger and just a normal one).
The problem I'm having is how I'm going to make her skirt, I want it to be like an old fashioned victorian era skirt with no armor. I will only use metal as a last resort and I'm going to stay within the GW range. So the way I see it this gives me 3 options, I can either find something plastic that's dress like for her skirt and convert it using GS to look more like I want or I can just make the whole thing out of GS. And if both of those fail then I'll just find a metal model in a dress and modify it.
But hopefully you guys will be able to suggest a plastic bottom that I could just add some GS to to make look how I want or maybe a plastic dress that I've overlooked. So? any ideas?

Rags to riches? The Empire Flagellants have some great flowing robe-like legs. You have to GS the gaps though, as no princess would wear a tattered dress.
Alternatively, maybe consider the plastic High Elf Mage. Very elegant and stylish, although I dont know if the lower body is detached from the cloak. However the Cloak might give her an air of elegance too, so that might be something to consider.

Have you considered using Dollhouse clothing? It may seem weird to use cloth on a model, but you can find some amazing items.

@MechaEmperor7000: I actually have a few of the Flagellant torsos for my other models and such and even though the robes are great and old school dresses are very poofy the Flagellant robes is pretty thick compared to the daemonette torso so even with GS I'm not sure it would work.
As for the High Elf Wizard I'll have to look into it but I do know that the torso and legs are one peice instead of 2 (the horseback legs are seperate but she'll be on foot). I don't think I would leave the claok on since it would be a little weird to have a cloak come out of the bottom of a corset and sculpting it up onto the models back with GS isn't the look I'm going for ya know?
@Looncoon: I don't think dolls clothes are the right size for a GW mini plus it woulden't look to good painted (if I could paint it at all) and it's not exactly GW legal, thanks though.

I know its metal but the banshee model has a good dress that could be GSed
as for any plastic dress wearing models, without them looking too manly or plain I think you might be out of luck :(

Well I doubt there are any actual plastic dresses and I don't doubt that if I do plastic it will have to be building off of somethings robes. I mean the easiest thing I could do is just cut the bottom off of a Brettonian Damsel but I really don't want to metal if I can help it.

I would just make it out of green stuff.
Get some Victorian fashion plates as reference.
You need to make a big bell shape, with pleats, and maybe some layers, then some ruffles and lace if you want it really fancy.
If you stick to the basic pattern, it doesn't look hard to do.

I don't think you are going to find something in GW's line. I know you could get some perfect looking victorina dresses if you used another miniature line.
This would be pretty nice:
But it is metal and it isn't GW.

@Killkrazy: Thank you but I've already got it planned as to how I'd sculpt it but I'm looking to do a plastic first and formost.
@Lord Scythian: That is a great model, metal isn't a problem it just isn't prefered. But not being a GW model takes it out of the running sorry lol

I know the whole idea is that you want to make your own, but the only GW dress I've seen is on the Vampire Counts Aristocratic Vampire, and she is already a vampire.

Have you checked through the Lord of the Rings minis? Their might be an elf or something that could work.
Also what about something like this high elf mage?

Nah the Masque is metal and would be too much work vs the plastic daemonette it is a good idea for a female vamp though. Maybe I should turn this thread into a inspiration thread on what other models could be turned into vamps.
See what I'm doing is making my own vampire to represent one of the differant types from the army book and I'm trying to make them all out of plastic GW minis so I can put tutorials that anyone could use in making their own. So far I've seen very few conversions where people have used actual GW minis, they usually just go with Reaper minis and I've only seen 2 vamp conversions using the GW range both where by the same person who also is an awesome GS sculpture.
I've got Bestial and Arkayne down 100% Martialle is at about 60% Courtly (my female vamp) just needs the lower torso. I'm brainstorming on the Severed and the Master has a head and some accessories but let's just focus on the female for now

Except I even said that it didn't have to be an actual dress. There are a number of models that have actual dresses I could use their just all metal. Now if you where asking why I didn't use the dress from the model vs why didn't I use that model instead of convert my own it didn't come across very clear in what you said because to me it semmed like the later.

Closest thing I can see in plastic and availability is this: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440061a&prodId=prod790860
Some of the closed leg stances could work as a small dress.

Ah yes I have some of those actually they come with awesome capes and their feathers work well on my Lizardmen. They may not be a bad start, use the one with less of a gap, fill it in with GS and expand on it for the folds of the dress and comparing the daemonette torso with the legs they're more comparable in size then the Flaggelant legs. I'll order another one on my next bits order because the one I have was used on my Tau Water Caste Surgeon
