No, allies are going the way of the Dodo.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Flat No. GW doesnt like the concept of Allies rules anymore, and even if they werent updating the codex, the only way to legally use them was to have a copy of the paperback Daemonhunters book, which was discontinued when they were turned into PDF form (which lacked the page detailing the Allies rule).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

the only allies rule you be able to use is Witchhunter Codex, after the new Grey Knights are out.

GW website. They say so PDF do not supersede printed copies.

Sure, but that doesnt mean I have to bring a copy of my codex at all.

With that reasoning, I can field Carnifexes in my Black Templars army, and if someone calls me out on it I'll fall back to "oh it's in my codex, but I don't have to bring it!". Doesn't work that well in practise...

So are you going to play with your imagination or memory?

I'd let you play that one. Carnifexen suck so much that it'd be more of a humourous liability than anything else. It'd be fun to watch.

The difference being that one is an actual rule and the other is something you 100 percent made up.
