Well it's not 40 jetbikes but I've been working on a 2000pt Saim Hann list, I don't think you could effectively put 40 in there.

Avatar without Fortune will go down.
My Iyanden list generally runs a Farseer with fortune and mindwar. Fortune for the wraithguard, mind war for pesky powerfists.
Add Yriel, he can deal out damage like the Avatar but cannot be picked out with shooting.

I also tool my Wraithlords for ranged AT with BL/EML.
A unit of Walkers can supply anti-horde if neccesary.

For the Wraithguard, give the warlocks conceal and keep fortune up, otherwise a well placed battlecannon round will decimate your expensive troops.

Avatar is rather out of place in this list. You only have two units that will benefit from the fearless bubble and not enough points to get fortune on him. Bashees will never see the light of CC on foot Harlies and wraithwall go hand in hand.

On the 40 jetbike, that's aa tad many to fit into a list without gimping yourself in other areas. What configs are they? # of reg/s cannon/ warlock

I think your refering to an eldarzilla list then. It's a gimmicky list with avatar, eldrad, wraithguard, harlies, and swordlords. That is extremely hard to fit in a 1500 list and still be viable

do you have a 2k point version of it?

Yeah give me a minute to run it through army builder though, been a while.

Essentially the list isn't terribly competitive and many serves as a "Here is the toughest stuff eldar have" list. You literally move + run up the field as fast as you can with the MCs out front. The harlies are obviously counter chargers. Eldrad keeps fortune up on the Avatar and the front Wraithguard unit (that he is in) while dooming anything in range or guiding the wriahtguard if something actually gets in range. The pathfinders are essentially bait since you have to flamer or CC them (in most cases) to make them go away you can use them to guide your enemy into a position you want. if you are going agaisnt slow or no trick opponents you just sit them on an objective or deep cover

This is the best approximation so far, but not good enough.
Eldrad is not needed as this pt level, just a Fortuneseer with both runes.
Wraithlords need long range weapons to provide fire support.

So, I have a new question, any way of making an Iyandan list competitive with heavy wraithguards/lords?
