The regular backpacks that came in two different boxes both have two packs that have holes where the others have the skull or exhaust.(in the middle) Both have one that has a complete hole and one has a bit of the mold covering most of the hole. They are in the same spots on both sprues. Is this intentional, if so why?

This is one that always comes up. It's a standard molding error. Give GW a ring and they should send you new backpacks. Otherwise just glue something like a purity seal over it.

ahh thanks. another question, is it worth buying arms/heads/legs on ebay to use the backpacks and legs that are extra, or will i end up paying as much.

Depends .. I did this with my SM Scout Snipers. I purchased a few extra bits off a bitz website and was able to make another sniper, a HB scout and RL scout. It worked out less per model (on average) than the models in the GW package doing it this way.

Have a look at some bits sites and see what you can find.
