Not sure what forum this really belongs in, but we'll give it a try here.

I have a tournament in a month and they are awarding bonus points for providing a fluff background for your army. Quick list:

Straken w/ tooled out command squad in chimera
3x 5-man Stormtroopers w/ 2x Melta in chimera
4x Vets w/ 3x melta in chimera
3x Vendetta

Also, there was a bonus for bringing three objective markers, and I am using three Primaris Psycher models for this.

Anyway, I am more of a competitive player, but I figure this is something I can have fun with. I am not looking for anyone to write anything (unless that's your interest), but just to have some ideas thrown at me. I plan to make it a little tongue-in-cheek by focusing on how we as wargamers see the army as opposed to the actual characters in army. A lot of weirdness goes on that we take for granted, and I think the models themselves would have a little weirder time dealing with the kind of situations we put them in. Some ideas I am starting with:

-3x Vendettas being standard issue to Imperial Guard armies (like their uniforms)
-The Emperor dictating that no squad can carry more than three meltaguns (Does the Emperor hate us, Sir? Yes.)
-Likening the chimeras to the parking lot at a mall
-Any other things you can come up with about 'standard' Guard tournament lists, think about some of your real life complaints you make to friends about them

I also know that there will be a lot of Chaos Space Marines and Blood Angels, so off-hand comments on them would also be welcome:

-How a guy holding a cup gives his squad Feel No Pain
-Rediculous models, like Blood Angels Elites having Nipple Armour
-Any other comments on 'standard tournament builds'

Help me out. I will post what I have when it is finished. I think we can all have a bit of fun poking at the hobby we all love.

Say... Those Space Wolves have a lot of Razorbacks and Long Fangs... and why are some of the riding giant wolves? In fact why are we even fighting them i thought we were on the same side? And i definatly Mark's cousins stepdad telling me that there were no wolves on Fenris so where did those wolves come form?
