Hi everyone, having recieved the inquisitive and thieving grots as a Christmas gift, I would like to group the six or seven figures into two or three small dioramas and use them as objective markers. Maybe using 60mm bases to do so. I was wondering if there were any size restrictions to using markers? Although i have a growing, fully painted and based ork hoard from grot to stompa i very rarely play the game, so any info would be greatly recieved, thanks.

Objective markers are **usually** on 40mm bases, there are no strict rules governing it, and it's unlikely anyone will raise a hub-bub, as there is nothing to say you couldn't mount it on the biggest you could find, but I find general concensus is 40mm

I'd go with 40mm, if you're willing to shrink the dioramas to fit. 60mm are pretty rare, since they're impractical to place in anything but open ground (might as well just nominate a smaller terrain piece, at that point). 25mm or 40mm are a better bet, in terms of practicality/common usage - 40mm gives you the space for more impressive modeling without being too chunky and 25mm can fit just about anywhere. If you can only make the scenes work on 60mm bases, though, by all means go for it.
