Does anyone know of any shops that sell Vallejo Game Color paints in Maryland, preferably along the 270 Corridor (Rockville to Frederick)? I'm switching over to them from GW paints and would like to have a source that is a bit easier than ordering from The War Store every time I need a bottle of paint. If they carry Army Painter products that'd be cool, too.

A new day, a new time zone.

HobbyWorks in Bel Air has a Vallejo rack, but that only requires you heading an hour or so due east of Frederick...

There's a comic/game shop in downtown Frederick I've been meaning to check out, but I was hoping someone had been in there. I guess I could, you know, call them, but that's far too much effort.

Brainstorm Comics (the place you're talking about) is pretty meh to be quite honest. Hobbytown USA in Frederick does have a bunch of Vallejo stuff at it, though.

Thanks... I may try the Hobbytown the next time I'm up that way.

The Hobby Works in Bel Air's rack is almost always empty. They do not refill it.

They have an odd reordering system that only tells them to restock the top items that all their stores sell. Its why the wargaming sections tend to be thin....

In the end, ordering from the Warstore in bulk is your best bet.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Hobbytown in Fredneck is your best bet. I'm pretty sure they have a fairly large selection of Vallejo.

There's a store in Alexandria, Virginia that carries both GW and Vallejo paints. They even carry some Army Painter products. The name is Eagle and Empire.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

The Hobbytown in Frederick is the best place in the area for Vallejo. Brainstorm was a nice game store in the mid 90's, but then they got rid of their game tables and everything went downhill from there. Hobbytown was just getting started around that time and they just blossomed.

The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.
