Got about 40 Space Marine Termies off Ebay, trying to decide should I go ahead with Dark Angel Deathwing Themed or wait for the Grey Knight Codex and look into those.

On moon miranda.

Don't forget Spehse Wolfies.

But between those two, I'd go with the GK's purely because I like the models more.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Play some games with both before you decide and start painting them.

You're also not forced to take a special character to unlock the ability to do it either.

I thought DAs required Belial for Deathwing armies.

GKs don't require any special characters for Terminator troops, but they need Kalgor to make Paladins troops.

SW need Logan to make Wolf Guard troops.

That's what I was pointing out, it was directed at Vaktathi's post as your one wasn't there at the time.

Any Grand master can make d3 choices count as troops. Doesn't have to be Kalgor, I'd rather take Mordrak he deepstrikes with no scatter first turn along with the unit he's joined to... which will be Paladins plus he spawns new terminators when wouded and also 75 cheaper.

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

Except Mordrak appearently isn't an IC.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

His entry says "Infantry,Character" plus First to the Fray rules say "If he deploys via Deep Strike, Mordrak and any unit he accompanies will automatically arrive in the first turn and will not scatter" so if he's not an IC so he'd be pretty rubbish and go against all his rules. But then again there is the whole ghost warriors thing may be the only way it works...

Hmm I'll have to wait till April to find out. Still the first part is still true, any grand master can make d3 choices troops.
