Death-Dealing Devastator

Hi ho folks,
In the middle of converting my AoBR Captain - Azrael winged helm and all haha
I seem to have misplaced my codex though ( )so can anyone answer the following?
Can my captain have a lightning claw and a combi-melta?
Or would dual LC be a better option?
(He'll be mounted in a razorback complete with command squad.)
Ta.

He can have either option, and they both have their advantages.
Honestly though, you're probably better off just giving him a rune blade and combi-melta. More effective than a single lightning claw against MEQ, and only slightly less effective against MEQ than two LCs while also giving you some ranged options (although if you take a plasma pistol or fire off the combi melta, it's actually more effective than twin LCs). Also, markably more effective against enemies of higher toughness and light armour.
Basically, rune blade is more versatile and has more raw power. Take that.

Thanks for your suggestions and confirmation that I can take that Wargear.
However, in keeping with my force theme (Bone Ravens) I'm keen to have a Commander with a talon, if not two, along with the wings on the helm - eagle headed backpack and so on
More fitting from a display/fluff point of view

They're pretty useful... Whack a stormshield on him as well and you have a survivable captain who is handy in a fight. Automatically Appended Next Post: If he is gonna be in CC a lot give him dual claws. If not give him 1 claw and a combi-melta or something like that.

Out of the two, it is hard to choose. Combi-Melta is good but you can only fire the Melta part once (which sucks. Alot.) On the other hand, two LC allows you to destroy enemies in CC

Thanks peeps - sounds to me like a 'flip a coin' kinda decision. I do love the dual claw look so may go for that if I'm gonna be running the captain + command squad into CC via transport
