Have you looked in other ranges for a similar color?

Yeah, I was under the impression that Vallejo still offered OOP GW colors. Of course, they're not called the exact same name, so you'll have to figure it out, but usually it's pretty much the same. For example, GW's discontinued "Jade Green" has a remarkably similar color called "Green Jade" and the old "Tanned Flesh" is remarkably similar to "Tan". I'd naturally assume that tan would look the color of khaki, but obviously Vallejo knows the majority market of where they're drawing customers from.

Your one-stop website for batreps, articles, and assorted goodies about the men of Folera: Foleran First Imperial Archives. Read Dakka's favorite narrative battle report series The Hand of the King. Also, check out my commission work, and my terrain.

Abstract Principles of 40k: Why game imbalance and list tailoring is good, and why tournaments are an absurd farce.

Read "The Geomides Affair", now on sale! No bolter porn. Not another inquisitor story. A book written by a dakkanought for dakkanoughts!

I'm sure they do another gold that's lighter then Dwarf bronze, it came in one of those annoying new bottles so it can't be very old.

I'll check when I get home.....

.....Burnished gold, is that any good?

Origionally gw paints were made by a company called coat d'arms, when gw changed their manufacturer for paints coat d'arms kept the recipe for the colours, they now sell all the paint that gw has sold under different names, here is a conversion chart http://www.hiveworldterra.co.uk/Article/view_CoatDArmsConversionChart.html.

I use this website to order from http://www.blackhat.co.uk/online_shop/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=3b8a339b171d9745ea04bb50902bc111

Hope this helps

Vellejo is equal quality to GW, almost the same colours for marketability, and is slightly cheaper I believe, so I would go for them!

Can you buy Vellejo in the shops or is it just online?

Vallejo Game Colours are a direct copy of Citadel paints in dropper bottles and with more pigments. Several stores have them but these are also available online.
Coat d'arms is also sold by Maelstrom.
BTW this question is asked every week for several years, so a search would have given you the answer really quickly.

This.

Though I found that 'Brassy Brass' (VGC) is not as good as the P3 (Privateer Press) version.

vallejo game colour is very good. the colour is brassy brass. the coat d arms aren't all the gw colours, magenta ink for example is missing. the game colour is excellent, I use them plus the foundation paints for all my work.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

Only 5 hours after I posted naming Brassy Brass...

The VGC inks are similar to the old GW inks, but they do not sport the entire range... however, Smoke is unrivalled
