Ok, so I'm a big fan of a certain Walter Hill movie by the name of "The Warriors". Maybe, you've heard of it? If not, it's a cult classic; treat yourself.

Anyway, I've got myself a bunch of boys here and I'm contemplating modelling them up as certain gangs from the movie, namely The Warriors (but I can't get images of Baseball fury Orks out of my head). So, is this a pretty cool idea or am I being lame? Just curious what you guys think before I proceed.

Or... has anyone on here done this alreay? If so, can I see your pics?

I know, ultimately, it is my decision and I should enjoy my army any way I want but, even though I'd get kick out of seeing them this way, I wouldn't want to take the time and do this if the connection mostly goes unnoticed. I guess this post is just to see how many people have actually seen the movie and get a kick out of this.

I've thought of making a Necromunda gang based off of the movie before, but never did it. Go for it, doing an entire army that way will be great.

Fluffwise, they're Blood Axes with a special interest in ancient Imperial warfare and have been most impressed by tales and pictures of a mysterious Hollywood klan. Each squad has decided to imitate their favourite hoomies. There's plenty of comic potential, as the orks don't understand the concept of movies, and see no difference between Warriors and e.g. Friday 13th, Gremlins, 300, Star Wars, etc
