I have been really looking forward to it ever Since they had the Awesome NIN soundtracked 'Be the weapon' trailer. I am wondering if anyone will be getting it and playing the multiplayer? I can't be the only fan. I heard that Crysis' multiplayer wasn't particularly popular, should i be worried?

I have the Crysis 2 Muliplayer demo, and thats already awesome. Im definatly going to buy Crysis 2 for PC.

I Heard that Crysis 1's MP wasnt great. I assume you had the original. was the MP really that bad?

Nope. I actally think it is better as it's more faster phased. Crysis 2 is just ridiculous too big maps for 12 players and you really slow. If I had aimbot like consoles it wouldn't make a diffirence as it is really easy to aim for head. Actually aiming the head is the only way to kill someone as everyone uses armor mode.

It seems consoles ruined a good game again.

I need to download the new demo on my xbox, but I've been busy with DoW2:Ret and Bulletstorm.

Played the first demo, seemed pretty cool. 6v6 on small maps is kinda meh imo, but I'm usually a battlefield player.

You don't get an "aimbot" on the console, btw.

You can actually activate "aim assist". I believe it's the default state, if I'm not mistaken.

Most console shooters either had an aim assist, or massive hit boxes.

I'm just worried from the trailers I've seen that Crytek looks like it's going towards a more linear style this time. The whole "You're here, go here, and however you get there is totally up to you" gameplay of the first one made me replay it dozens of times. And for an FPS, replay value for me is pretty rare. I just hope it stays the same way.

Also, I haven't read who is in it. Is it still Nomad, Psycho, and Prophet?

I have played the demo and it is pretty fun. I like the fast-paced approach they took this time.

I wouldn't say view friction over an enemy target = aimbot

they improved a few things from the beta, although people running around in stealth all the time is pretty annoying.

Lets hope singleplayer is atleast as enjoyable as it was in crysis 1. Although previews and youtube shows consoles raped that part too.
