I was looking through ebay for some steel legion to make a small force and I stumbled upon this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Games-Workshop-Warhammer-40-000-Imperial-Guard-/130494754867?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item1e6217f033

Does it seem worth it, I already know how they will be painted but thats a problem of mine I always count my chickens before they've hatched.

well they are at 13 pounds now... this wont be the end by far... steel legion is some minis that have a rather unnecessarry worth on ebay...always with high prices ending.... to be honest i often wonder if they would be that much more expensive to order from GW directly...

but hey for your army they would provide greatly... but then there are so many good headsets out there to give you gasmasks...so i would be rather going for lots of cadians and then spice them up with pigioron helmets and stuff...just take a look at maxmini and their counterparts...

If you get them for £13 it would be a bargain. You probably won't though.

Cheers vik I will take a look at Pigiron stuff I saw a couple of their feral models a while a go and they looked perfect for a resistance/milita (with different heads though) so I will probably be ordering from them. The reason I wanted the Steel Legion was primarily the greatcoats as I am horrible with greenstuff.

Oh one more thing, it isn't to do with this topic, but do you use a translator for english or are you fluent in it? I just wondered although you've probably been asked it before.

Lol, I always used to have wars with lego aswell (usually throwing it at my sister) but contrary to you my mum was the one that got me into war gaming by buying my a couple of Airfix kits (as I am a WW2 Nerd ).

Well whenever you deny a human being something be it a book, a DVD or the chance to push a button labelled do not push, they will want to have it or do it. Such are the wonders of the human mind.

On topic it looks as if I may be getting the Figures for cheaper than I thought only 25 minutes to go and still at £14.

Not surprising there. Prince August miniatures have the rights to them and they are Irish.

I'd use the WF greatcoat guys if you really need them (cadian arms can work, but that's more money spent on them though.).
I just throw spare lasguns onto them (replacing their normal weapon which has been shaved off and the lasgun modified to fit).
