My son was using the little Circle construct (can't remember if its name is woldwarden or woldwatcher), its animus is Geomancy and the wording is (forgive me going off memory, don't have the card here) that it can be forced to cast one of its warlocks spells with a cost up to 3 fury. Now I took that to mean force it, put the one fury on an fire away with the spell (ignoring the cost as long as it is 3 or less). Is this correct or does it then have to pay the fury to cast the spell?

Put one fury to cast the spell and that's it.

Yep 'Force' means place one fury. Remember that the Woldwarden can also boost spells cast with Geomancy with its fury.

It's also worth noting that Geomancy isn't the Woldwarden's Animus so it isn't stopped by thing that stop or remove Animi.
